There are two audio streams to choose from in the DVD – an audience/ALD matrix and the ALD by itself. Both are very enjoyable and yet the contrast between the two is such that when you change from one to the other – it’s almost like watching a different show. I can picture a lot of people switching back and forth a lot once they realize how distinctly different the viewing experience is between the two audio options. While listening to the matrix, you get the feel of being there with the rest of the crowd. However, when listening to the ALD, your ears really perk up and you start zeroing in on all the crisp and sometimes very subtle sounds that you don’t normally hear due to the crowd noise.

Now I know that a lot of people have listened to the ALD audio and just about everyone bags on Ed because he was drunk and acting a little weird. The assumption is that this ruined the show. I would have to disagree. Yes, Ed was drunk and singing way the heck off-key and his playing was sloppy at times. But he was a ‘happy’ drunk that night. The band actually was having a really good time and it was a fun show. But you don’t really get that vibe from only listening to the audio – you have to watch the video to pick up on it.

Rob, would you be good with downloading the discs as rar files from somewhere like google drive and burning them yourself?
