VH fans either liked the direction VH went without him or they didnt. It would be the same story no matter WHO was singing for VH post 1985, Patti Smythe, Phill Collins, Robert Plant, Luther Vandross, Steve Cole or the garbage man….Some people would like it & others wouldnt & it would always be blamed on the 2nd singer, because they aint Dave.
