The ‘jam’ was pretty skinny, IMO.. very underwhelming. 10 albums in the can and Ed can’t pull one riff out? Dave sounded pretty good, all things considered, so that was also nice. I dig Ed’s tone, way more meat than buzz which is nice. I was afraid we’d be getting the half-cocked wha pedal sound from that 510 IIIS demo. They still have: Hot For Teacher Considering he has two guests on tonight already, I’m thinking they’re going to wait until the very end of the show and maybe show one song, so I was thinking they would show “Hot For Teacher” or “Eruption/YRGM”. They have had more time to edit, so maybe they’ll do something different for night two, but considering the 45 minutes worth of commercials they put in a one hour show, I’m thinking they’ll just squeeze one song in. Same for me – I don’t function well on too little sleep. And waiting for all those commercials to end was pissing me off big time. When I saw Jimmy make the intro from out near the stage, that’s when I realized that they probably had to play ten minutes of straight commercials to give him time to get out there.
