Of course. Shipping rates overseas are ridiculous.

So what’s the deal with the remasters? I’ve seen pics of gold discs that I believe we’re only available in Japan that were supposed to be the end all-be all.

Would the average ear appreciate the quality of these enough to buy AGAIN?

As far as I know the only Gold DCC Remaster was for the first album. The other Japanese boxed sets were of the original releases and then there was the UK release of the 2000 Remasters in a boxed set. We’ve been trying to bring all of this together in the VH Remasters thread. These new releases are supposed to be more thorough and from the master tapes as opposed to a digital remaster. Only time will tell I guess.

I’ve got to say that Tokyo Live cover gives the thing a cheap appeal, looks very ‘bargain-basket’ in a superstore

Will the live version be any better than the version we have now on CD?

I’m sure it will be a board mix and mastered cleaner, but doesn’t mean it will be “better”. It depends on your personal preference.

Well, I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who wasn’t too fond of the new coverart.

I think the only saving would be paying the designer, the print production and origination would still be the same cost as it’s 4 colour process. I see were you are coming from but even the who’s live at Leeds was a cool looking concept, one colour on a brown bag!
