It’s a great CD with some all-time faves, but for some reason, it’s usually the last CD I reach for when grabbing some VH for the rotation.

I did decide last tour that SGMD is one of my top 3 live VH songs (with Panama and Mean Street). Such a fun song!

I remember them saying that this was a rushed project because the record company wanted to hurry up and get another album out to ride on the wave of success created by the first album.

It sure is damn good for a rushed effort.

Van Halen II is the second album by American hard rock band Van Halen, released in 1979. It peaked at #6 on the Billboard charts and spawned the singles “Dance the Night Away” and “Beautiful Girls”. To date, it has sold over five million copies in the U.S. Critical reaction to the album has been positive as well, with the The Rolling Stone Album Guide praising the feel-good, party atmosphere of the songs.

For sure one of my favorite albums.
D.O.A. is still my all time favorite VH song.

Most of the time I pick this one first. Funny how everybody has different taste.

Had this on cassette back in the day.

Probably the most-listened-to VH album that I own.

When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor?

Great album. Production lacks balls though, IMHO. They’d fix that on WACF. :)

This is the one that started it all for me. Not my 1st choice in the player today, but a great one from beginning to end.
