No, just a computer.

Probably should caveat that by saying an older computer might have a hard time playing the video, and unless your computer can display in HD, you will only be able to view it as a standard definition video.

guitard: As I mentioned in another thread (or maybe earlier here in this thread) – home authored blu-ray disks are still new and there are some disconnects between authoring programs and blu-ray players, just like there were in the early stages (ten years ago) with standard definition DVDs.With my blu-ray player, the skip to the next song button doesn’t work with DVDs that I author. It’s possible that a firmware update for your blu-ray player will fix this.

The weird thing is that I burned a copy for a member and the song button worked! I’ve got a couple more to burn so I’ll see how they go.

Pretty much up until now, the blu-ray player manufacturers have only had to build players that could handle officially released, factory made blu-ray disks. But now you’ve got guys like us who are using various authoring programs to author our own blu-rays, and we’re burning them onto BD-R disks. Eventually the manufactures which catch on and make sure the players can handle all these variables that come with home-made blu-ray disks. But until that time, we are going to continue to see these odd little glitches pop up where one player can handle a disk without a problem – but another player won’t.

Sony Blu ray players play most home made discs. I have used Sony blu ray players since blu ray was introduced, always had good luck with them. Last year I bought an Oppo 93 blu ray player, these are true universal players. I play all region dvd & blu ray discs with it, much better sound than a standard blu ray unit also. They are expensive, but for the quality of it & the numerous features, they are excellent players.

NO! It’s made for a standard DVD case…didn’t know OEM Blu-ray cases are available

I guess I’m gonna go back and redo ALL Blu-ray artwork that I’ve done to DVD scale. I also just bought a lot of 50 BR covers off ebay for $12.50…

Gotta say, I was confused by the dimensions given at the link I posted, as by my measurements, I didn’t have cases where the spine matched any of those. I made a best guess at which I should use, re-scaled the image and printed. It was not quite as wide as it should have been, but it looks pretty good in the case, even if it’s all a little squashed (DVD artwork is taller than BluRay artwork).
