The key to maintaining the highest quality is to source the multi-cam from the raw video files. If you use an authored DVD as the source for a multi-cam, the video has been encoded – and is not as good as the raw files. So unless they are absolutely not available – always try to get the raw files.

guitard(7354) | Guy ~ I told him I’d mail him an SD card to send back with his raw files. So you should go ahead and do that. It’s under 8GBs, so an 8GB SD card will do the trick. I take a plastic phone card (kind of like a credit card – but a little thinner) and fold it over, put the SD card inside it, and tape up the three open sides. I then tape that to a piece of paper and fold the paper so that the SD card is in the center of the envelope. You can mail that out like a regular letter with no customs declaration or anything else – and it only requires the same postage as a regular letter.
