8. Ed’s guitar solo
9. Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love
10. Jump

First 40 seconds of audio on disk 1 is from one of the videocams – after that it’s all Earlehead’s audio. There are some phasing/fluctuation issues in the first few minutes of Earlehead’s audio, but after that it sounds great. This audio has some really nice, heavy hitting bottom end – but zero distortion or muddiness. This really gives the audio – especially during the distant shots – a full bodied feel that fits perfectly.

This is different from most other 2012 Van Halen DVDs in that it has a distant angle that is tripod steady, always in focus, and shot at the correct exposure level. The side angle is also well filmed and has perfect exposure. One really nice aspect of the side shot is that because of the angle, even when zoomed in, it often includes more than one band member. And the third angle (Steecoe) is nicely filmed front row shot.

This is sourced 100% from the original HD files – there is no Youtube content.

Seriously, why?!!! All I have been doing for the last few days after having computer issues and being overseas is downloading VH DVDs.

A lot more activity at DIME. I guess less people are using JTT these days.

JTT is pretty much dead. It seems hardly anyone goes there for VH stuff anymore, which of course leads to less VH stuff being uploaded, which results in…

Well . . . there are already two other versions of the Nashville show out there – and each has blu-ray and standard definition versions. It’s been proven many times: the first version of a show that gets released – even if it is really crappy quality – will almost always get the bulk of the downloads.

Taking into consideration the quality of the filming, the show itself, the audio, and the overall DVD production – I think this is a “top 5″ DVD from this tour. Unfortunately, only a few people will ever watch it.

And that does suck.

The tracker at JTT is fucked up. I finished downloading the show over 10 hours ago, and the tracker shows me at 44%, and uTorrent will not allow me to seed the show, under tracker info “no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.”

That’s probably why no one is downloading the show from JTT.

Hopefully that means Brett is finally updating the tracker for blu-rays…

I haven’t checked this morning, but for the first several hours my download was at 0 for the DVD9 at JTT. It showed 5 seeders but zero activity. I guess if that continues I’ll head to Dime. Thanks for giving us options – I’m really looking forward to seeing and hearing this show!

Tracker at JTT is now working. I didn’t realize I could do this, but I am seeding the same show at JTT, and DIME at the same time.

I don’t need the ratio points at either site, so I stopped seeding at DIME, and will seed at JTT until there are plenty of seeds.

Thanks, man. I assume you’re seeding the DVD9? You don’t burn discs as I recall…
