In 2007, Vandiego Dave brought us “In Your Face In San Diego.” In 2012, he brings us “In Your Face Part Two.”

Note: this is the exact same mpeg file and wave file that is in the DVD9 version – Silver Stallion just split those original files in two to create this 2-disk DVD5 version.

Thank you!!! It has been a good day over at DIME. If there is interest, I would be happy to set up another tree. Please be aware that I am downloading the 2xDVD5 version (I have a lot more blank DVD5s sitting around) and I will not be able to send the discs out until the end of August. However, if people are still interested I will set one up.

This is what I hate about dime and torrent sites. http://www.ioffer.com/i/van-halen-2012-live-san-diego-ca-usa-dvd-519477135
Guy sits in Russia downloads someone elses work and then sells it on an auction site. This is the main reason why a lot of filmers are sitting on shows or only letting them out to people who will not circulate them. Crap like this could ruin this hobby one day.

Um….it could happen via snail mail trade too, bro.

It’s been happening for years…even before torrent sites. People get shows, and a handfull of assholes decide to sell copies for a quick buck.

Sucks…but such is life. The best thing we can do is report them for selling bootlegs.

Assuming the video hasn’t been altered, whomever buys a copy and watches it will feel pretty stupid.

I suspect people that buy these probably don’t care one way or another. They probably have no interest in trading or have nothing to trade, they just want the show, and don’t mind paying for it. I don’t like it, but it is, what it is.

Besides, the genie is out of the bottle, and you can’t put it back in. No one is going to turn off the Internet.

Yeah, you’re probably right. It does kill me though, looking at the link and who bought it. There is one guy/gal that has bought somewhere around 25 shows, mostly Van Halen at around $30.00 per show. Some of them are just the burned dvd-r’s in paper sleeves but the dick head seller is generous enough to email you the artwork so you can print it yourself. Unbelievable.

I bought bootlegs back in 2000 and I was happy to pay as I thought I was getting a good deal paying $20-30 a video tape (hell, I bought CD bootlegs back in the early 1990s). It was through the Internet that I found out about torrents (JTT and then DIME). And it was through those sites I found about this site. If it was not through torrent sites I would have had nothing to trade. So like everything, that shows are so readily available on the Internet is both a good and bad thing.
