I ran into their bedroom really early in the morning when they were still sleeping and said I’d dropped the milk bottle (this was back when they were glass) and my little brother had cut his foot really bad on the broken glass. They jumped out of bed and started heading toward to the kitchen … and then I announced, “April Fools!!!” They were pissed off and relieved at the same time.
