Apparently I only have video of the Oshkosh show. I thought I had an audio recording of it. Sorry gang!

jroundy: Dropbox will install a program on your computer to sync your account with your computer.Sort of like a torrent program.

Save the entire show to your account, and the Dropbox syncing program will automatically download the show to your computer.

It is very easy, once you learn how to use it.

You do want to be a little careful though – because if you have a folder synched with someone else’s folder and they are constantly uploading – it will always want to synch everything that gets uploaded – whether you want it (or have room for it) or not. So I have turned off the auto-synch.

I really like the ‘save to my dropbox’ feature when trying to snag something that someone else has shared via dropbox. A lot easier than doing all the files individually. Also FYI, if you have the free account with the 2 GB limit, you can still save a larger file to your dropbox account from someone elses. Once your dropbox is full, you have to move what you have downloaded out of your dropbox folder to a different folder on your computer to use dropbox again, but its super easy & convenient…

As much as I use dropbox, I should know this. But I mostly upload shows and share them – and rarely download stuff. I’m under the impression that the links I provide are for the entire show (the entire DVD).

jroundy: Not sure exactly what you’re looking for but I see “(Curtis Mayfield) 70′s Funk ‘n…erfly.mp3″

I uploaded a single song to test (probably should have used VH). Does it work?

Yes they are, but when you click the link you have the option to watch (or listen to) the files, save the files manually or save the entire folder to your dropbox. It wasn’t until recently that I realized how much easier it is to save the entire folder to your own dropbox.
For example if you share a link to a DVD folder that you have uploaded, if you save the files manually you have to select each individual VOB & IFO file separately & save them to the location of your choice (or depending on your browser setting it will d/l to your default d/l folder). If you select to save to your dropbox, it syncs the folder as a whole to your dropbox folder then you can just move it to a different folder on your computer. Much more simple & efficient.

I added the four pack of UK shows from ’78 to the VH folder.

You can transfer “save to my Dropbox” a Blu-ray file into a free account. Your free account will notify you that the account has exceeded its limit, but if you have the Dropbox syncing program on, the file will still download to your computer.

Depending on your internet speed, it will still take awhile to download to your computer, but it will work perfectly fine.

I have done it more than a few times, without issue.
