Anyhow, this is grade A entertainment David Lee Roth style long after leaving Van Halen, mostly promoting A Filthy Little Mouth album. For me this was a treat, because I had never seen any of this before. There is a very young, hot for Dave, Kelly Ripa interview. All thanks go to JasonA who authored the DVD, and whoever else that was involved, as well as Milan AKA RockPhantom for the original upload. If you don’t have this, you will want it. Just a thought for everyone who has super fast upload speeds……throttle back your upload speeds if you are putting back more than your taking. Take pity on those who have slower upload speeds, and let them get their trading ratios in order. If you have finished downloading and your ratio is in good standing, step off, and let the other guys catch up. Go seed a show that needs seeding. Be kind to others with slower upload speeds. JasonA (1105)	Out of all the DLR compilations I made, this one is my favorite since it incorporates such a variety of sources. This one went beyond just recording a bunch of stuff off of MTV with a VCR. Back in the early 90′s I was a student at Michigan State University, in the telecommunications program. I did some research and found contact info for a media relations guy at Warner Bros. This was before the internets. I wrote a very professional-sounding letter asking for some DLR footage for a “class project” that I was doing for my video production class. Of course, this was all bullshit, but I am proud to say that I scored copies of the YFLM electronic press kit and She’s My Machine video on official WB promo tapes (3/4″ U-Matic, no less). For the Daisy Fuentes show, I sent $25 to Burrell’s Transcripts and got it on VHS tape. Kelly Ripa was hawt back then, as was Daisy, although the Daisy interview was awkward when she asked him about VH and he got kinda pissed at her. So who do you think is hotter, Kelly Ripa or Daisy Fuentes? I wouldn’t be surprised if Dave tapped them both! I’m pretty sure I still have the original WB tapes in my closet. And I still owe that guy at Warner Bros. a copy of my finished product JasonAQuote

jroundy (1418)	Daisy Fuentes seemed kind of stupid in her interview with Dave, but looked very good. She seemed to be a little hot for Dave. I bet Dave got a little pissed, because before the interview, he probably asked not to be asked any questions about Van Halen. In the last chapter, a very young Kelly Ripa seems to be infatuated with Dave. The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. steecoe (1984)	Man o Man, I used to think Daisy Fuentes was the hottest chick ever….I used to set the VCR to record her VJ hosting blocks & then edit down her clips onto one big collection of Daisy footage, her & Kari Wuhrer (mmm, Kari), too, back in like 1990 or so…I am sure I still have those tapes in one of the big boxes of old VHS tapes that are sadly rotting in my basement. I remember back when I used to record all the entertainment tonight type shows everyday & then speed through them for any kind of VH footage, it paid off quite a few times! It was always so awesome to score a VH clip here & there. I remember thinking it would be cool to have some way of having the VCR magically record anything that had anything to do with VH, knowing it was impossible — now between DVRs that will actually do that sort of thing & the having the internets at your fingertips & being able to download just about anything sometimes even before it airs on TV, it just doesn’t have the same feeling of finding a piece of treasure…although with the rarity of VH clips to be had these days it is still awesome to get anything, not matter how accessible it may be!! steecoeQuote
