Not a single solo tune from Dave.
We’ve heard DLR perform these songs with the Van Halen brothers just 10 years ago.

I’d like to hear Dave perform a few rare tracks from his 90′s solo albums.
For example: A Little Ain’t Enough, Drop In The Bucket, She’s My Machine, Black Sand, Slam Dunk.
Anything from A Little Ain’t Enough and the DLR Band albums would be a pleasant surprise….

Thank you for saying that. I started wondering if I was the only one who felt that way. Yeah, sure, hearing the Halen tunes but I’d love to hear some solo Roth tunes. In my humble opinion his set should have only a couple Van Halen tunes but then be heavily made up of his solo stuff. It would be awesome for him to play… Yankee Rose (OK, yeah, cliche) but also Goin’ Crazy!, Big Trouble (that would freak me out), Knucklebones, Just Like Paradise, A Lil’ Ain’t Enough, Last Call, It’s Showtime!, Slam Dunk!, Wa Wa Zat!! and so many more.

I feel the same way. But Dave knows what most of the fans want to hear.

I am totally glad Roth didn’t perform any of his solo songs and when my Wife and I see him next month in NH, I hope he doesnt do any either as far as I am concerned the only songs he did on his own that I like are JLP and YR the others I never liked at all.

but to each his own for sure :)

Glad he is out there doing his thing

Give A Little Ain’t Enough and the DLR Band albums a chance.
They are great. On ALAE, Dave finally found his groove as a solo artist.
Skyscraper sounds incredibly dated and is best forgotten.
