Didn’t find anything but I was surprised they didn’t use the space on the back side of the back cover of the cd case. With the deluxe version when you open up to the second disc it just a black background. Would have been cool if a VH logo was there.

Yeah, that caught me too, just a big old black area crying out for something/anything. I don’t have a copy of the standard release, does that one have a clear tray as well?

My Walmart only had the CD too, no deluxe or T-shirt versions. And it wasn’t “sold out” because the lady was stocking the shelves while I was there.

They had the deluxe version about an hour ago…but no tshirt version…

I went to wal-mart at 5:15 this morning before work, and no VH anywhere,so I talked to a woman who wrote down all my Info and promised I would get the first copy.I went back after work and all they had was just the regular cd-no shirt-no deluxe version,so I go to the next wal-mart a few miles away and got the t-shirt edition, but It contained no dvd.Best Buy had the dvd version,so I had to buy two versions to get everything.I was just suprised that my local wal-marts did not carry the dvd version. It does not matter how much I had to spend, after waiting this long It was worth the wait!

Just picked up the deluxe version at Best Buy.
Nice mix. Sounds good in a car stereo with Bass & Treble both at 1 o’clock.
Wow, a new VH cd actually in my hands.

When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor?

I didn’t realize until about an hour ago that in all my excitement I failed to notice that my deluxe edition didn’t come with the bonus DVD as I had originally thought. Guess that means on payday I’ll be forced to buy yet another ADKOT disc. Darn the luck.

Bought the deluxe edition from Amazon, fuck the t-shirt.

Wow, this baby sounds great through my car stereo! I’ve avoided all samples other than Tattoo and another one I clicked on, so this is my first real run through the disk. Everything sounds much much better straight from the CD, as usual.

This is what VH should sound like at this point in their career. Makes me kind of sad to think of all that we have missed over the last 25+ years, but what the hell, just crank it and enjoy it now.

OK, VHStore has the vinyl so I bought it. Thank god, I really didn’t want to give my $$$ to ticketbastard.

I guess I buck the trend, I just downloaded the deluxe version from iTunes.
I love the music, way more than I thought I would, way more.
For me the standouts, after only a few listens are Big River, Stay Frosty, and Blood and Fire, but that will change. I am sure of that.
The funny story for me was giving my 14 year old daughter a “history” lesson. I had to explain while I love the Sammy stuff too, this was important because the last time VH released a full album with Dave, I was her age.
She failed to see the importance of that story!
I do appreciate my nine year old playing air guitar to the new stuff.
One final note, thanks for no real “keyboard” songs.

Get busy living or get busy dyin
