Need some New Rocking tunes.
Just go onto the 2008 Steve Stevens song. Small Arm’s Fire. Love his quicker heavy playing..

Anyone got any suggestions for tunes dont have to be brand new??

Like songs with heavy guitars..

My bud said The Cult have a new song with great guitar but can’t find it.

Any ones go any songs??
New Aerosmith cd and good songs? Kiss??

Cheers..

I’ve been diggin Kill Devil Hill and Adrenaline Mob. Both relatively new bands with seasoned rock/metal musicians. Great heavy guitars. Check them out.

Hard to tell what you might like, it looks like you’re into older bands that may have released new stuff. But, here are a few that you might consider newer that I think are very good.

Alice in Chains with new singer – Black Gives Way to Blue. Plus a new one coming out in the next couple months
Alter Bridge – guitarist from Creed + a great new singer
Mark Tremonti – solo project from former Creed guitarist
Soundgarden has a great new one out
Steve Vai has a new one out

If I thought you were into the heavier stuff I’d recommend Deftones, Tool, Between the Buried and Me, Gojira, Lamb of God, Machine Head, Mastodon, Meshuggah, Opeth, and Periphery

Anyone have the new Alter Bridge release – Fortress? I totally forgot about it until today and plan on hitting iTunes when I get home. I’d love hear what anyone thinks, though. I have high hopes for another great rocking CD…

I listened to it once. I think it’s good, but I need to hear it more.

Ok, I’m through two songs and think it’s great. So far very consistent with their earlier work with solid vocals and fierce solos!
