Making slow progress through the book, and came across a couple of interesting things related to Diver Down.

Didn’t know that the “(Oh) Pretty Woman” video was offensive to Samurai warriors.

and never heard that the back cover photo was thought by some to be false advertising. (because it wasn’t a VH crowd)

I felt that the “covers” section at the end of the chapter on 1984 was missing one or two of the all time greats.

Nice one Ron! I’m well familiar with the Apollo 440 track but never heard Roger Manning’s Moog thing before…I’m a big Jellyfish fan but his solo CDs are rare on this side of the pond and very expensive when they do show up.

I’ve started the chapter dealing with Sam & “5150″. Since I started reading this book, and I’ve noticed quite a factual errors so far. It’s still a very good read, though.
