His passing capped an incredible career of nearly 60 years behind the microphone, including more than 30 years at the legendary Los Angeles radio station 95.5 KLOS. After leaving KLOS initially in August of 1997, he ended up at KCBS-FM in the area doing mornings for seven years. He also began hosting the syndicated radio show Off the Record. An additional seven years followed where he was back at KLOS.
