Ain’t No Love In The City
Coming in August

CLASSIC BROADCAST SHOW FROM VAN HALEN S 1995 WORLD TOUR Dubbed the Ambulance Tour by Eddie Van Halen, due to his visibly painful hip Injury and brother Alex s neck brace, worn throughout the world jaunt, Van Halen s 1995 Balance Tour, in support of that album s release in January 95, was their biggest and many would say their best since Sammy Hagar had taken over as vocalist in 1985. Covering 128 dates in the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia, it started in January 95 with a couple of European warm up dates, and began properly in the USA on March 9th in Pensacola, Florida, with a show broadcast on TV and Radio across the US, and syndicated too in Europe. This CD features the entire remarkable Florida gig, featuring VH classics from across the band s Sammy Hagar era, plus a few choice classics and covers from earlier in their career. Bonus cuts come from the band s appearance on the Jon Stewart show a month or so later, on 25th April.

Well, I guess until the CD ships, we’ll just have to wonder at the track listings provided with these grey-market releases….

Looks like a copy of this disc: http://www.vhboots.com/nottalking.html

Having listened to this disc now, it’s quite a hack job. It’s the same as this disc: http://www.vhboots.com/nottalking.html
but it runs about 3 seconds longer for some reason.
If you see it in a bin, or on a shelf, I’d say : pass

Just like the good old cassette collecting days when people would add tracks from other shows and then rearrange the songs, label it as a different date and location and list it as “Uncirculated” and will only do 2:1 trades or 4:1 for blanks. LOL They never change their tactics, the bastards!!
