I bought it. I think it’s a decent documentary of the show. Not much VH in it, but if they aren’t willing to be interviewed then I suppose that’s what they get. The guy that attended the show said he thought they had the best set list even though most of the people there hadn’t seen much of VH prior.

Yeah, that guy was the only one who said VH was great. Everyone else had sort of a shitty take on them. Kind of a “they rocked, but they’re jerks” kind of a vibe. Overall, a decent documentary of the event.

Thanks for the review.
Is there much footage of the other bands live?
Love the docos on the Festivals.
Is this worth putting onto a DVD?

There isn’t a lot of footage of each band, no. The whole doc is only 43 minutes long. It’s typical documentary format. It’s broken into segments. The build up, the event, summary of each band on the bill, the aftermath and how time (and the economy) has rendered these events impossible to be profitable. It’s probably 75% interview footage and 25% performance footage and I’m not sure all of the performance footage is from the event. The VH film is from the event, but the audio isn’t. The quality of the download isn’t really DVD worthy either. It’s a nice little doc, but nothing to savor. Like I said before, it was worth the $6 price tag. ;)

saw this VH clip up on youtube now from this doc. And there’s a quick 5 seconds of Van Halen footage thrown in from that day (at 1:58). well pretty nice to see even though it’s ONLY 5 seconds .. haha…!!
