I can’t sit through the Youtube vids from 2012, but the show I went to was frickin’ awesome. Likewise with 2007. But like I said, the beer helps!  guitard (7354) | ^^^ I wouldn’t exactly say no one sounds better than DLR when I’m at a VH show and the band is rockin’ hard – it’s just that I don’t notice that Dave’s voice sounds bad. The last several shows I’ve attended, I’ve been up front though, so maybe that’s partly why. guitardQuote |

 Mink (2663) | To be honest, I’m not a fan of Dave’s soft shoe and magic hand schtick on the last tour. So for me the entertainer part is waning as well. I still think Van Halen is the best band out there, but Dave is getting harder for me to take. That being said, I am looking forward to whatever is coming this year! MinkQuote |

| guitard (7354) | ^^^ Typically, I am always filming when I go to a VH show, so I might get a beer or two before the show, but during the show, I concentrate strictly on filming. That’s another reason why I probably don’t notice the flaws that much. guitardQuote |

I rarely notice it at the shows other than an obvious crack in the voice or whatever. Now on the boots well that’s another story. Much more noticeable. When I’m there, I’m not going in order to nitpick every bad note someone hits. If that were the case I’d never go see my 2 favorite bands anymore VH and KISS. muroh73Quote |
