videoman320: A pretty bad cd and a singer who can’t sing anymore is probably why.

I have no problem with how Dave acts… never did, except jerking off with the Jack Daniels bottle was a bit disturbing for me as well. I don’t want him to embarrass himself, or degrade his legacy. His primary responsibility to the band is to sing.

I love ADKOT, and think Dave sounds awesome on the album, but he is really struggling live.

The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. Nobody rules these streets at night like Van Halen!!

mrmojohalen: If Dave retires, that’s the end of VH. I’d rather accept him for who he is today & keep VH together.

I think if Dave retired gracefully, and was still a part of the band in some capacity, the band could continue on. I would still want Dave involved with song writing, and even show production. Dave could even pick his replacement? Although, I don’t know if his ego would allow such a thing.

The only reason I say Dave doing this is an act is based on what we can prove. Go back in time and listen to the shows. he says the same thing in the same song on a particular tour.
Think about it for a moment, 2008 tour the blowers were on. Ya think they would fix the issue after the first time instead for almost every city?
1984 – mic issues, almost every city?
I call it the attempt to get the crowd riled up instead of realizing we have aged as well and want the music and not him threeatining to fuck the roadies girlfriend.

videoman320: Maybe not. Wolfie has said one day he wants to start his own band. What better way to get noticed than to warm up his dad and uncle Alex. Mike and Sammy come back, Eddies happy being on tour with Wolfie. Wolfie can come out and do a few tunes with Van Halen, and everyone lives happily ever after.

The booze brothers ain’t never ever coming back. Maybe VAIN can chime in on this one.

When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor?
