The Adrenaline Mob was great, loved the way they threw in the whole lotta love riff 8)

I liked the take on the riff Tracy G does but he solos the first break very much like george lynch which overall is a little disjointed, I also think they should of cut it short leaving the last lead break off, but wasn’t bad.
tbh, I didn’t think Ralph Saenz did a good job singing and for some odd reason seams down on key? compared to when I’ve heard him sing in the punks. Maybe they dropped the key on the whole recording

ya I love Ralph in atomic punks and steel panther as well. think he has a really strong killer voice. But somehow this “On Fire” cover he didn’t sound all that great…guess it was drop tuned a lot and he was adding his own flair (not just cop’ing DLR)

Think he sounds much better on this RWTD cover here:

ffoner: I just posted this track on my blog. This version truly smokes. Tracy G (formerly of Dio) kills on it and no one does DLR better than Ralph S.

Enjoy.

I am pretty sure ’78 DLR would sound weird singing over this version of the song. It’s the tuning of the song, and how it’s played which change the way the vocals were sung.

That’s actually Todd Thorn playing along with the guitar hero rips that were done some years back. I remember when they were done I was buzzing like VH had released Largo 80 (almost  )

That’s not Dave singing… I think the Punks did a guitar backing track, so you could play along. I have a copy somewhere. It’s not Guitar Hero.

Did the Punks do any more other than RWTD? never knew they’d done backing tracks.

I’ve got RWTD, YRGM, and Unchained. Found them at some guitar backing website about 4 years ago.

I can tell it’s Ralph’s voice, just guessing if the bass, and drums are the Punks. But, it would be an educated guess. Nice backing vocals.
