LA Sports Arena this week

Maybe there should be a thread containing a list of all the places that VH once played that have now been torn down.

They either just did or they are about to tear down Dayton’s Hara Arena….one of the only places (in that region )that stayed with general admission seating after the Who Tragedy. …it was like an 8,000 seat dive bar…. which was fantastic for rock concerts

I recorded VH here in March 95. I believe they shot at least some of the tour book photos that night too…
from wikipedia: “The last ticketed event to be held at the facility was a Van Halen concert on March 25, 1995″

The Bradley Center in downtown Milwaukee opened on Oct. 1, 1988. The 2nd concert to take place there was Van Halen on Oct. 28, 1988. (first was Amy Grant) The last concert was Bon Jovi on April 29, 2018, and it’s last private event will be in July. It’s scheduled to be torn down starting later this year. (no implosion)

I remember local radio stations saying Van Halen was the first concert when it really wasn’t … later they revised the promos to be, the first ROCK concert. LOL

The Pontiac Silverdome has also been demolished.

When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor?
