JasonA: DLR (solo) August 14 1988 was the second event ever held at the Palace, the day after it first opened. The first night Sting played there.

I was at this show. Saw Judas Priest there 6 days later.

While not being tore down, the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago suffered damage due to heavy snow this week. The Aragon was home to Van Halen’s first ever tour date back in 1978.
