Can someone clarify this one on file size. vhboots doesn’t call this out as a dvd9, I noticed on others like the March 1st 2012 MSG show it does call that out as a dvd9. Also the disc I have is 4.29 gb and a disc that mcs5150 has is 4.47 gb. We both thought we each had the 2012 upgrade as mine came from Fletch and he his through private torrent. So what is the correct file size of this disc?

I’ve got it at 4.48 GB, through a private torrent.

My copy says 4.48 GB – Brian hooked me up with a copy on a DL disc. If you need a copy sending over, I’ll be happy to help.

It is a DVD9 as the files won’t fit on a standard DVD5 disc. Use the MD5′s at vhboots to see if you’ve got the right files.

I could put my copy up at Dropbox in a private folder, and pm you the link, or do a private torrent. That way mcs5150 doesn’t have to send you a hard copy by international mail.

I can do that for you as soon as the latest and greatest Las Vegas show from JTT is done.

thismusicsux & Roadiedave,
You can probably try to work a B&P or trade for a copy of this? Just a suggestion

thanks for the suggestion Oryo. Ended up getting this.

Also anybody know this guy or the story with his version. Seems to be pretty great quality

also the mystery of the 81 Oakland footage. Read this DLR 82 interview recently which doesn’t say much… but still love to find all the info around that show ;0)

It seems like you’d like to be involved with cinema.
Sure, well we had a Van Halen movie, the three tunes that were on Don Kirshner Midnight Special* or whatever it is this week. And we were completely involved in that. We decided we wanted to do all live, we wanted to shoot it live, we wanted to record it live, live sound, which we never had before. And that’s what we did. We got five cameramen and shot a couple of shows that were really live and even though it might not have been as perfect as, say, in the studio, or doing a video, you can see all the people in the action, what it really was, which is exciting to me and we put it on tv.
