I saw the show at JFK Stadium, Philadelphia, Saturday June 11th. WHAT A DAY!!! OH MY GOD!!! 27 years later and I can still remember it. I was with a couple of friends and we had general admission. Tailgating in the parking lot, watching everyone do their thing, being approached by bootleg t shirt guys, it was the best. The weather was hot and sunny and like an idiot,………………..I wore jeans. WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING!!!!! When it came time to hit the stadium, no joke, my friends and I were the 1st ones on the field, dead center. We couldn’t believe it. What sucked was, instead of standing up, security made us sit on the field, until it was time to stand. Since people were being impatient, some people rushed and we were pushed back a little. Still up close. As the day progressed, the crowd got restless and I got separated from my friends. We had a plan from the beginning that if we got separated, we meet back at the car. That’s what we did. We were wiped out at the end that we ordered a limo to take us back home and went the next day back tot the stadium to pick up the car. I did buy a cool looking bootleg shirt and I’m sure u all know, those t-shirts sucked back then. 1 wash and that was it. Gone. Oh well. A fun and exhausting day. I’ll never forget it.
