No disrespect to our Oz members, but based on past history, I’ll believe it when I see it.

I don’t know how anyone with even half a brain and has followed Dave’s career, would ever think Dave would share the stage with another singer. Ain’t gonna happen, folks.

Agree. Dave doesn’t even like to share the stage with another person.

I like the idea, but I’d rather just see the current line up. More music, less circus.

I dont think the Sam Dave thing will ever happen.

But Touring here around the time of the June Japan dates may still happen. If nothing else, it gets VH back in the news and starts talk about them Touring again in 2013. :-)

I agree with Wes. There is no way Dave would share the stage with anyone, and especially Sammy. Shit, he didn’t like competing with beach balls on this last tour. I think it was Nashville and Montreal where he had the crowd pass the bouncing ball up to the front. I hope they do make it to Australia though. Maybe we’ll here something soon!

We have not there here since 98..Would be great there has been a buzz about them coming the last few times until things got messed up.
Saw them in LA and Vegas last year but to see them here would be great.
They are saying a lot of bands are Touring the World to make money as there is no money in CD slaes anymore…Gone are the days of all our favourite bands going to NO.1 and staying there for months.
We have many US bands touring here this first half of 2013.
Hope Promoters here can pull it off and get VH here.

I don’t think it’s gonna happen.

Dave with Eddie Wolfie and Al, are currently the real deal.

…Sam cannot share the stage after all the crazy s**t that went on during the 2004 tour…

do you remeber this??? … http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sW1g0HZk2no

I prefer the 2012 version than the 2004 version…

The Sammy era, ended in 1995…

It would be good to see the 2 eras on stage together, but, as we all know, its’ IMPOSSIBLE… but who knows…

you know I agree that Dave would not want to share the stage with Sam but you know what….. over the years I would not give up hope with ANYTHING with these guys. Remember back in 95 Ed was being interviewed by Razz and said Dave would NEVER come back and Sam is like family and then he is out, then in 97 Ed and Al were like, “this is the last version of VH and if this does not work out… we are done.” Then Gary is gone and Sams back, then Daves back etc… on and on and on…. I mean I would believe anything. Do I think its going to happen? no I dont but I would not bet money on it either. Ed seems to be pretty grounded these days and who the heck knows with these guys.

I could see a Dave set and a Sammy set, in theory….In reality I cant see the two egos coming to an arrangement….I dunno though the mighty dollar is a big motivator…Would love to see this tour. I may not be able to catch any VH shows this year….

Well, Sam and Dave toured together in 2002 (I think). Mike was at those shows and played with Sam but Dave wouldn’t let him play. At least that’s what I thought I heard. Putting Sam, Dave and Eddie on the same stage at the same time would really be something. I doubt I’ll ever see it but then again I didn’t think I would ever see Roger Waters and Dave Gilmour on the same stage.

Q: What’s in store for you in 2013?
Sammy Hagar: I’m in the studio right now with my band, The Wabos, and we’re rehearsing and writing songs. We’re putting something out this year and we’ll probably go out and do 25-30 shows.
