June 19, 2012 We’ve always known Adam Sandler was a huge Van Halen fan from all his references to the band throughout his TV and movie career, but his new movie, “That’s My Boy”, takes the cake!  Three classic Van Halen songs are featured in the movie: “And The Cradle Will Rock…” “Dance The Night Away” (twice!) and “Ice Cream Man”.  The movie starts off in 1984, when Adam’s character has a major crush on his high school teacher asks her out on a date to see Van Halen’s concert at the local arena. Sandler’s character wears Van Halen shirts in the movie; as a teenager he is shown wearing the Vintage Eagle Shirt and as an adult he’s shown wearing the White 1982 Vintage Lion Shirt. Both of these shirts are officially licensed and are exclusives to VanHalenStore.com. In fact, Adam Sandler was officially proclaimed the “Customer of the Year” at Van Halen Store last year, where he placed five huge orders — ordering a lifetime supply of Van Halen shirts!

They had no problem, however, accepting payment right away. Just a heads up if anyone else is considering it.

While on the topic of shirts – I ordered the VH ‘Surfer Girl’ shirt from Live Nation about 2-3 months ago and have not received it… I e-mailed about it and was basically told to wait and like it. They had no problem, however, accepting payment right away. Just a heads up if anyone else is considering it.
I ordered 3 shirts from them,and got 2 I have no Idea when or If I’ll ever see the other one.

sickman(2380) | My first order with them was February 12th, Pin Up Girl Motorcycle shirt and the Black tour hat. Still haven’t received them. On the bright side I also haven’t been charged for them. Second order was April 24th when it came back on line. I bought my son the football jersey, my wife the leather bracelet and myself the skull tshirt. The only thing that came in so far is the football jersey.
