Not sure if it can be ever stopped.I was looking for something about The Rolling Stones and this site I had not seen came up.So I checked a couple of bands I like and have bootlegs for.Not only will they ship to you like most sellers always have but you can even get a download which I had not seen on one of these sites yet, plus they have previews which the ones I looked at looked crapy compared to what I have not sure if it’s the player though.I’m curious in this day in age if they sell lots.Too bad more people do not know about trading and torrents. But then again I think some people do and would rather just buy this stuff some people just have money to waste or would just rather buy stuff then deal with trading or downloading. We are lucky most VH traders are cool and like to share but some bands fans or trading communities are full of NFT or RT.I personaly have a family and have barely enough dissposable income to go to concerts I want in this day in age to shell out 15 dollars on a bootleg I might only watch a few times and can get for free but I see why these sites stay afloat.

Hopefully anyone buying this show from him sees the “vhtrading.com” and checks it out.

Isn’t there a disclaimer on that disc that if you bought it you got ripped off? And they still sell it, amazing.

Actually, there are more people selling these days because thanks to torrent sites and you tube, the shows are more readily available, and to make it even better for these guys, they are free. I don’t have a problem buying from a filmer, never did, never will. A lot of people bitched about the NYCBC, but those guys spent a whole lot of money filming all those shows. Also the time they put in filming, driving, and then turning them into multi-cam shows. There has been a huge void in the amount of bootlegs out there this summer with them gone. One of the worst summers ever for quality bootlegs. I for one miss those guys.

I agree with there being a lack of quality bootlegs out there since NYCBC dropped off the face of the earth.

If someone has lots of money, and is not interested in becoming a trader…. why wouldn’t they just pay for it, and be done with it. I’ve bought shows in the past, because I didn’t know anything about trading. I had the money, wanted the show, and bought it. The only thing that kept me from buying more bootlegs, was that I was usually disappointed in the quality of the bootleg.

You can’t think like a trader, and understand why people do this.

It’s simply the path of least resistance.

If I hadn’t discovered torrent sites…. I wouldn’t have discovered this site.

Therefore, I would still be buying bootlegs. It’s not really complicated.

You don’t have to be a trader to amass a huge collection of boot CDs and DVDs. There are many people in this hobby who only collect – mostly through torrenting. They are “collectors” – not “traders.”

Paying someone $15-$20 and then having to wait for them to mail you a DVD-R is actually more work than making a few clicks at a torrent site and having the show sitting on your harddrive a few hours later. This is especially true if you factor in the amount of work the average person has to do to earn $15-20.

IMO learning how to download a torrent and burn it to DVD is about as complicated as learning how to use a Microsoft office application (Word, for example). Most people who know how to use a computer, have learned how to use Microsoft Word. Many of them learned on their own.

Having said all this, there are still a lot of people who for whatever reason – choose to buy instead of download.
