I have purchased bootlegs before and I will probably purchase them in the future.

It gets difficult not to when you are after DVD/BD bootlegs of a band that is not popular enough to have their shows on torrent sites. Or that the shows that are on torrent sites, are the same shows that everyone has.

You find a show on a traders list but it’s a “rare trade only” or they are not interested in trading with you. So you search for that show only to find that it’s not available. I’m not going to sit back and wait for the show to be available. I will purchase the show if I can.

I’m a member of a few bootleg torrent sites and I’m sure there are many more that I do not know about. Some having the Fight Club rule.

Some of my DVD authors are one of the sites mentioned in this thread. If I didn’t want it to be sold then I should not have traded or torrent the disc. Once you release it, there is no way to control who does what with it.

That always makes me laugh. Places having the Fight Club rule. Then how does it survive? People always talk.
