Okay, 2 weeks after saying I was going to listen to it and I’m doing that now.

Obviously taken from the mixing desk. It sounds pretty much perfect. Ed places new little spins and improvising on most of the songs. Wolf does the same. It’s nice hearing these classic VH songs without vocals and without having to look them up on YouTube where you can sometimes hear Dave’s vocals faintly in the background. Al is seriously kicking the hell out of his bass drums on Panama, though.

I’m not sure of the vinyl quality Andrew used, or paid for to have the audio transferred to, but for something that arrived sealed my vinyl copy needed a fair amount of cleaning up.

I only heard 1 glitch, and that was roughly around halfway through SGMAD. It was an audio thing, not a vinyl scratch or skip.

Listening to it today on Ed’s b’day, so it makes it all a little bit more special.
