I have a feeling that Ed had his issues early in that tour & maybe wasn’t in the best emotional state at the time.

I think I have read other instances where this has happened. Not being sober can make you angry & combative

or sad & emotional with enhanced self esteem issues. It is hard to imagine anyone thinking that he was a freak

because of the way he played guitar. But sometimes he saw himself this way, with or without an audience.

I’m glad that he was better later in that tour. You can tell the difference in those Spring 2008 shows.
