Season 1 is available for purchase in itunes for anyone interested. I know some have them recorded, but I don’t have AXS TV so I’m buying them.

I sat down to capture the episodes off my DVR this afternoon. Plan on putting them to BluRay, and possibly just sharing the TS files.

I have a BluRay ready to go finally. It was the 2 dozen extra clips that took time to organize and put together (plus work, life, etc…).

As captured, the TS files (without commercials) come in at ~21GB, and the BluRay is ~22GB. So no real savings to be gained by getting just the TS files unless they are re-encoded at a lower bitrate or resolution.

As for distribution, I can’t do much with it as these episodes were/are officially released and sold by AXStv: http://www.axs.tv/buy-axs-tv-programming-online/buy-rock-and-roll-road-trip-with-sammy-hagar-online/

Someone posted the entire interview in HD on YouTube.
I recorded it on my DVR and compared it to the YouTube version and there doesn’t seem to be any difference in quality.

San Francisco — Season two kicks off in Hagar and James Hetfield’s hometown where they turn the camera on the star-studded 3rd annual Acoustic-4-A-Cure — the benefit concert they founded. The concert event, at the world-famous Fillmore Theatre, is one of the year’s hardest tickets to score and is open to TV audiences for the first time on AXS TV. During the one-hour premiere Hagar interviews Hetfield, Joe Satriani, John Mayer and Melissa Etheridge — leading into epic jams with Hagar, Hetfield, Mayer, Tommy Lee, Satriani, Etheridge, Pat Monahan, Vic Johnson and more (March 5).
Norman, Oklahoma — Hagar goes country when he travels to Norman, Oklahoma to interview and jam with the multi-talented and award-winning Toby Keith at his 160-acre ranch (March 12).
Bloomington, Indiana — Hagar meets up with rock legend and Renaissance man John Mellencamp at his art studio in Bloomington, Indiana. Hagar delves into Mellencamp’s passion for painting and talks about the struggles he had staying true to himself while coming up in the music business (March 19).
Chicago & Denver — An in-depth conversation about the history of rock with Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen, followed by a performance by Hagar’s star-studded band The Circle, featuring Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham, and Vic Johnson, at Denver’s legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater (March 26).
Saratoga, California — An intimate rock talk and blues jam with ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons at the Mountain Winery concert hall in Saratoga, California (April 2).
Maui, Hawaii — A conversation on art and music with rock legend Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac at Mick’s restaurant Fleetwood’s on Front St. in Maui (April 9).

New Rock & Roll Road Trip is returning July 9th

One of the things I love most about interviewing my favorite artists is asking them about things you won’t get when you Google them. I try to make it more personal and in the moment than about the things we all already know.
– Sammy

LOS ANGELES – May 31, 2017 – Sammy is back for even more candid conversations and exclusive jam sessions with some of music’s biggest names, as season two of AXS TV’s popular original music series ROCK & ROLL ROAD TRIP WITH SAMMY HAGAR PRESENTED BY MERCURY INSURANCE continues for a second cycle on Sunday, July 9, at 9pE/6pP.

The upcoming cycle kicks off on July 9, as Sammy heads to Sin City to cruise the Strip with Eagles legend Don Felder in a classic Cadillac, share some laughs with Carrot Top, and hang out with rock superstars STYX backstage at the Venetian Theater before bringing the house down with a raucous “Hotel California” jam. Other highlights include Sammy performing Chickenfoot hits with Chad Smith and Joe Satriani at his studio in San Francisco (July 16); a trip to Nashville to visit with heavy metal icon Vince Neil, and an acoustic set at the world-famous Phoenix Studios (July 23); an intimate dinner at SUPERMENSCH superstar Shep Gordon’s home in Maui, featuring an all-star jam with Sammy, Mick Fleetwood, Willie K., and more (July 30); a front row seat to the World’s Biggest Music Festival, SXSW, where Sammy is honored as a keynote speaker, and performs an unforgettable rock-rap jam with hip-hop pioneer and RUN DMC founder Darryl McDaniels (August 6); and a season finale event that finds Sammy sitting down with the multi-talented Adam Levine to talk about his eclectic career (August 13).
