Estimate: US $7,500,000 – US$9,500,000 !!!

Few songs are more emblematic of the sports car hobby than Sammy Hagar’s iconic 1984 hit single “I Can’t Drive 55″. But far beyond just that, Hagar has been a fixture of the rock and roll scene as a soloist and the second lead singer of Van Halen. As if being musical royalty and a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Hagar has been a successful restaurateur as well as launching multiple successful spirits brands including Cabo Wabo tequila and Santa tequila. And coming as no surprise to anyone, Hagar is also a dyed in the wool car enthusiast.

This one-of-kind LaFerrari was ordered new by the Red Rocker himself and carefully specified to his rather fine tastes. Finished in Avorio (Ivory) with Tetto Nero DS accent trim, the color was picked after seeing how well it suited Ferraris of the 1960s. Inside, the seats are trimmed in matching Avorio Alcantara with black trim accents and optional gloss carbon fiber trim throughout. In case there was any question as to who’s car this was originally, the factory installed a small plaque at the base of the steering wheel reading, “SH 10.13″, SH for Sammy Hagar and 10.13 for his October 13th birthday. It should come as no surprise that the Ferrari also features a Harmon Kardon audio system to blast the tunes.

Delivered new to California and remaining there for all of Hagar’s ownership, a new high-voltage lithium-ion battery was installed by Ferrari of San Francisco in January of 2024. Sold by Hagar in the fall of 2024 with 1,566 miles on the odometer, just 200 additional miles have been added in the ensuing two years for a total of 1,772 miles indicated at the time of cataloging.

If you can’t drive 55 – and could easily be written up for doing 125 – than this one-off spec, bought-new by Sammy Hagar LaFerrari is sure to be the crown jewel of any collection.
