Although it is very nice of you to upload these for people to enjoy … it is kinda like listening to a song on the radio, when you listen to the song you really don’t possess the song. You still have to go buy the CD (or in today’s terms, download the MP3 or M4A). Even if someone captures the YouTube video it will not be the quality of the DVD.

And not that they should have any say whatsoever once they release it … for whatever reason, there are a lot of filmers who don’t like their (especially full length) shows being put up on Youtube without someone first asking them about it.

well i have this one on DVD and the quality is weak.. 1996 maybe a hi-8 camera… poor audio… so even this on DVD is no better than the upload.. right?

My understanding is that YouTube re-renders video that you upload. If so, any and all YouTube videos will be of lower quality than what was uploaded.

yeah well to have shows like this out there for all, means more to me than hording a DVD of the show… no matter what YouTube does to the file i will watch way more live music on the tube than on my own DVD player.. but that’s me..! to each his own…peace.
