Notes: ^ First half acoustic, finishes full band. Mammoth (no longer Mammoth WVH) are out supporting their excellent third record,
“The End”. I caught them over the summer opening up for Creed where we got 2 new
songs in a 30 minute set, so it was a bit of a tease. Well, this was the whole
damn enchilada. 7 new songs from “The End” and the longest headlining set Mammoth
have played to date clocking in with 17 songs at one hour and 37 minutes! As a
huge fan of this band, this show had everything you could want. Sure, hearing
“Mr. Ed” again would be nice, but you can’t be too nitpicky. I recorded Columbus
the next night as well, so be sure to lookout for that one, too. I thought the
better show was in Detroit, it just felt like the crowd was louder and more into
it w/ the band feeding off of the energy. I had great neighbors near me, so I
did not have to do much with the recording in post, outside of a minor EQ. Turn this up and enjoy! Im going to go ahead and be greedy and hope for more
headliners next year in 2026.
