mrmojohalen (6535) | Van Halen A Goody/Flying M Audio Upgrade REMIXED FLACs obtained and provided by johndoe335 > Goody’s additional lineage: Flying M’s additional lineage: Lineage: Originally from http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=690877 What I did for the remix was run it through Demucs (v4) to get bass/drums/vocals/guitar stems. Then used Audacity to combine the individual stems to my liking. I put the guitars 30% in the right speaker to have some separation. Added some treble to the guitars and drums. Jacked up the guitars, turned down the vocals a little (this all varied from song to song). Output to flac 5. David Lee Roth – lead vocals Disc 1 Total Runtime: 1:58:43 This edition – Aug 29, 2025 Notes: I did this one mainly for myself so I could have louder guitars in the mix. But a lot of people have been asking for it, so I may as well share it with everyone. It’s free and can just be deleted if you don’t like it. I have plans to also share the US Festival and West Palm Beach 1979 in the future. I thought this was a fitting end to Van Halen. They had a great setlist. Yeah, I would’ve done it differently, but still, it was nice to have songs like “Dirty Movies”, “Light Up The Sky”, and “Feel Your Love Tonight” in the set. David Lee Roth, while not sounding like his 1982 days, sounded better than he usually did this tour. It was nice to hear him reminisce about past times. I thought “Dance The Night Away” was magical, especially when after all they’ve gone through, Dave says “I said it earlier, but just so you know I mean it Ed, the high points of my life have been spent onstage working with you and Al.” When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor? mrmojohalenQuote |
