i guess I always have to feel I need to be doing something.It is really hard to go to a show and just watch and listen.In fact i dont know the last show I just went to for the fact to sit back and relax.
I’m the polar opposite….even if I knew how to do it, and had the equipment…..I would still be so overwelmed by the show, I couldn’t take my eyes off it. And then I hope someone records its, so I can watch it again to see if I missed anything.
The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. Nobody rules these streets at night like Van Halen!!

oh true, i cant take my eyes off of the show either, i am trying to pick up any little nuance. Then when i listen and/or watch the shows i have been too again and again it takes me back to that very moment, where i was sitting, what was happening, it is very visceral. Yeah there may be a bit of ” at the moment” missed feeling but to me that does not compare to being able to relive it again and again any time i would like–so i need to tape/video.

Whatever I have installed under WinXP for handling ZIP files seamlessly, didn’t like it, but I tried another program, and it was fine. I see I wasn’t the only one with password troubles though, as there is a comment attached to the TUBE post by someone else asking for a pw.

Depends on the venue. Some have very different (strict) policies that differ from whatever each individual band’s policy is.
